SCOTT and MARCI CROSBY
Raised on Bayou Lafourche in South Louisiana, French-speaking Cajun, Scott Crosby, when at age 18 sensed God's call on his life for ministry. The next four years were spent at International Bible College in San Antonio, Texas, where he met and married Marci, his wife of 37 years. Upon graduating from IBC with a degree in Christian Ministry and Biblical Studies, Scott and Marci began ministry to children.
The first two years found them on staff at Christian Center Church in Channelview, Texas, as directors of the Christian school and children's ministry. For the following ten years, the Crosbys pursued itinerant ministry doing "Kids Krusades" and children's camps across the U.S., Canada, and Jamaica.
In 1982, Scott accepted the pastorate of Vermilion Gospel Tabernacle in Abbeville, Louisiana, where they stayed for 24 years establishing a home and raising their three children. Since June of 2007, the Crosbys are once again traveling in ministry speaking in adult and children's meetings as well as doing "Cajun" stand up comedy for church banquets and special events.
